I want to tell your story.

What do I mean when I say that I want to “capture your story” or “document your story”? Why don’t I just say “capture your moments” or “photograph your family”?

I’m absolutely going to be doing both of the latter, but my goal is something much bigger. Each one of us has a uniqueness, our own “story”. Each person, each couple, each family. When we meet for a session, my goal is to bring out that uniqueness. To channel what it is that makes you special. The little things, and the big things. The ways that you interact with each other that is so individual. My goal is to cultivate an environment where you feel totally comfortable “letting loose” and letting out those things. I want images with life! Something that you, your children, and your grandchildren will look at and feel years into the future.

This moment in time, you have a story. It won’t be the same story next year, or maybe even next month. But, when we meet and you allow yourself to relax and be free to interact with your loved ones as if no one were looking- your story will be captured. And it will be beautiful and a story worth enjoying over and over again for years to come.
